Jamie Arnold
Lead Manufacturing Engineer
Ball Corporation
Broomfield, CO

"I love knowing the products I manufacture contribute to not only the aerospace and space science communities, but benefit my family, community, and nation as a whole. It is rewarding to take a design and integrate it into a physical product using innovation, teamwork, problem solving, and technical expertise.”

Jamie has developed both technically and as a leader during her eight-year tenure at Ball Aerospace.  She demonstrates an eagerness to grow her exceptional knowledge base and has quickly become a trusted expert and highly-requested leader on the corporate teams.  Her organizational and manufacturing skills earned her a reputation for delivering exceptional quality work ahead of schedule and under budget.
She credits her parents with instilling an appreciation for hard work and an interest in being the best she could be.   While completing a rigorous engineering curriculum in college, Jamie also ran Division 1 cross country and track, and developed skills in working alongside teammates and motivating them to achieve their goals that have been readily transferrable to the work environment.
She has a highly approachable leadership style built on transparency and open communication.  She actively mentors her team, empowering them to develop independence by fostering knowledge and skills development critical to accomplishing the work.   She is committed to success as a team, and truly believes it’s the strength of the individuals coming together that make that success possible.
Jamie is noted for continually developing her own skills as well, including earning a Master’s degree in engineering management which has enhanced her business and leadership skills.  She enjoys seeing the impact each of the very different projects she’s run has on not only the aerospace and space science communities, but on the world as a whole.
