Helen excels at leading manufacturing operations while bringing technology based improvements into mature and well established processes. Her exceptional foundation in scientific and engineering principles, coupled with her consistency in management, has offered a strong foundation for her success. Helen leads quality functions in over 20 manufacturing facilities with continuing year over year quality improvement. Helen’s unique talent for coordinating manufacturing goals with the balance of engineering disciplines has made a difference in the organization. In fact, her leadership resulted in double digit reduction of customer returns and enhanced customer satisfaction measures.
Delivering the promise to the community is also important to Helen demonstrated by her participation in many charitable organizations and events. Supporting the United Way and many community service activities, she is an example for others to follow. Her unselfish contributions and humble attitude are refreshing, and in each effort she strives for learning and excellence. For more than twenty years, Helen has been an active member of the Society of Women Engineers (SWE) at the local, regional and Society level, advancing to increasing levels of leadership within SWE. Her guidance and participation on the SWE board of directors shows her drive to excel in all she attempts.
Helen’s personal commitment to advancing SWE’s mission can also be seen in her commitment to excellence in the manufacturing environment.
