Jennifer is responsible for the fabrication, assembly, and test of complex precision space hardware ranging from deployable mesh antennas to kinematic mechanisms. Her team of over 50 engineering technicians maintains 30,000 square feet of clean room space and more than $5 million of specialized tooling for space antenna and boom manufacturing.   She is responsible for annual project budgets of approximately $6 million, supporting seven manufacturing products across multiple, simultaneous programs, each containing custom requirements to meet critical customer specifications. Jennifer has used her manufacturing knowledge to analyze processes and identify methods to streamline and standardize build techniques and tools to increase productivity by more than 30%, allowing Harris to maintain its world leader status in the development of large aperture antenna systems.

Jennifer’s strong technical aptitude allowed her to quickly learn the industry after graduating from college and make an immediate impact. She was able to translate complex designs and engineering data into simple to understand manufacturing instructions. She has quickly moved into a leadership position, enhancing not only her technical skills but her management and communication talents.

Jennifer is actively involved in giving back to the community through her volunteer activities. She is a member of the Haven Guild, a licensed shelter through Florida’s Department of Children and Families that cares for children who have been removed from their homes because of neglect, abuse, or abandonment. She also serves as a volunteer in the Chef du Jour program, which provides home cooked meals for the Haven houses throughout her county.
