East Coast Erosion Blankets
“Setting goals is imperative to success. Manufacturing has many different facets, and every position is important. Set short term goals to allow yourself to learn all aspects of your industry. As these are achieved, you gain knowledge and experience that will lay the foundation for long term success.”
Diane has been integral to developing East Coast Erosion Blankets into one of the top four manufacturers in the erosion control industry. Despite a downturn in related markets, Diane was instrumental in growing the company, including exporting products to achieve a world-wide presence. As a result of her team’s focus on delivering exceptional service and products, the company was recognized in March of 2013 as one of the top 50 Privately Held Business by the Lehigh Valley Business Journal.
Diane has served on several non-profit boards, and is active in her church. She continues to pursue professional and educational opportunities that will strengthen her performance, including efforts to become a Certified Professional in Erosion and Sediment Control. Diane currently serves as Industry liaison to the National Transportation Product Evaluation Program, and is on several industry committees including three through ASTM as well as three within the International Erosion Control Association.
Diane credits her ability to use leadership and organizational skills to mentor and grow a young workforce as being the key to the company's achievement and success. She has been highly successful in working with unskilled labor and implementing training and mentoring to ensure growth within the organization.
