Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas, Inc.
“Manufacturing is the backbone of this country. Today, we have the unique opportunity to move the manufacture of products back to America. Manufacturing will change the tide of our economy. We are truly the most skilled & diverse work force in the world, bringing innovation in production to life.”
Lisa leads by example, parlaying her twenty years of manufacturing experience into a belief that if team members align with the same foundation and goals, the organization will be better able to withstand the constant challenges of product and process qualifications required with green field expansions. She is a specialist in capital equipment procurement, acquiring over $50 million of manufacturing equipment for three of MPSA’s facilities. She excels at team-based source selection, strategy development, and negotiation of manufacturing equipment, all of which support MPSA’s process improvement initiatives and rapid growth. Lisa was integral in a series of Kaizen Improvement events with MHIA customers which yielded increased product productivity in the manufacturing sector and year over year cost reduction benefit.
Lisa also hosted several Diversity Supplier Development events in both Orlando and Georgia. She has been an MPSA panel member for Minority/Diversity events hosted by Georgia Power to teach small and minority companies how to start working with major corporations and Government agencies. She also continues to work with horse and cattle, something she excelled at during her high school days, and shares her passions with the children she teaches on weekends.
