Director of Manufacturing Operations
Ingersoll Rand - Club Car
“I don’t just like manufacturing,” Stephanie said, “I love it. I began my career in the background ‘fixing’ facilities and quality issues or providing engineered solutions. But as I got closer to those activities that truly bring products to life; my realization was that the real game is played on the floor.”
And on the floor is where you’ll most likely find Stephanie at Club Car, the world’s largest manufacturer of small-wheel, zero-emissions electric vehicles and one of the most respected names in the golf industry. She leads a team of nearly 500 through various functions including manufacturing, tool and die, quality and engineering.
Prior to Club Car, she held positions of increasing responsibility at the Ingersoll Rand plant in Southern Pines, North Carolina, and a variety of engineering roles at Bosch, Honeywell and Textron.
Throughout her manufacturing career, Stephanie has delivered meaningful results: implementing lean manufacturing approaches, increasing productivity and profitability, decreasing costs, improving customer service and accomplishing certifications.
Stephanie is an engaging, charismatic leader. She applies leadership talent to an array of efforts, including developing, improving and sustaining processes for a variety of products from headphones to impact tools to vehicles. She gained hands-on experience in the manufacturing world from the ground up.
Stephanie is an exceptional mentor who enjoys helping others define and develop their career paths. She has led classes, taught college-level courses and engaged young children in her community. Her philosophy? “Continuous improvement.” I apply it in my personal and professional life and encourage members of my team to do the same, because as writer Max De Pree said, ‘We cannot become what we need to be by remaining what we are.’
