KarrieLee is a pioneer in the Aerospace industry regarding safe handling and test conduct of high- powered Lithium Ion batteries. Her contributions have led to the development of a state-of-the-art facility where multiple redundant over-test protections have been instituted along with a novel facility infrastructure capable of handling the most unexpected, severe events. KarrieLee is becoming a recognized Subject Matter Expert in the industry on this important technology.
Her past experiences played a major role in her success as an early career leader in Lockheed Martin’s Production organization. After graduating from the Colorado School of Mines (CSM) with a BS in Electrical Engineering she was selected for Lockheed Martin’s prestigious KAPL Naval Nuclear Engineering program. She had achieved an exceptional amount of engineering experience as an undergrad because of her impressive summer jobs and internships which made her uniquely qualified. Over a range of roles within the company she’s had the chance to develop exceptional management and leadership skills to complement her technical portfolio.
KarrieLee has been active in GESTEM for middle schools and STEM for high school students at the Colorado School of Mines. She is a member of the Women’s Intrinsic Network, the United Way Campaign Committee and volunteers for Newborns in Need at Denver’s Health Medical Center. She is a dynamic, energetic individual who works effectively with all levels within the organization, including colleagues and customers.
