Heroes MAKE America provides participants with the additional industry-specific skills, certifications and connections necessary to establish a fulfilling career in manufacturing.

     

HEROES MAKE AMERICA PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS

  • 8-9 week DoD approved Career Skills Program
  • Certifications: Certified Production Technician, OSHA 10 and Fork Lift Operation 
  • Certifications include Certified Production Technician, OSHA 10, Fork Lift Operation, and Mechatronics (Fort Campbell--August 2019)
  • Weekly modern manufacturing tours 
  • Career readiness instruction – resume writing, interview skills, social media branding 
  • Placement support – connections and guidance during career search and interviews with manufacturing companies across the U.S. 

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY 

Service members within 180 days of separation/retirement, honorably discharged veterans and spouses of active duty service members are eligible to enroll.
